Doha Bank announced yesterday the opening of its first electronic branch in Dubai, the UAE, where Doha Bank Group CEO Dr. R. Seetharaman headed the inauguration of the new branch at the Bank’s premises in Dubai, according to Al Rayah newspaper.

The inauguration ceremony also Dubai branch head Nael Zahi al-Zagha and the head of retail banking in Dubai Mohamed Akram Hashem, among the attendance.

Commenting on the inauguration, the CEO said “Electronic banking centres will give an extra edge to the customers and build relationships beyond banking. Doha Bank is committed to leverage its global network and strengthen its e-commerce platform and extend more alternate channels for a delightful customer experience.”

It is worth mentioning that Doha Bank had launched its operations in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah last year. Moreover, it has said it will launch its second electronic banking branch at Mussafah in Abu Dhabi.
